31, of Cozad, Neb.; assigned the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, N.C.; died June 2 in Baghdad when an improvised explosive device detonated near his vehicle.

COZAD, Neb. — More Nebraska memorial arrangements have been made by the family of an Army sergeant who was killed in Iraq.
The Defense Department says Sgt. Justin Duffy of Cozad died June 2 in Baghdad after a bomb exploded near his Humvee.
Duffy’s body was buried near Moline, Ill., where he grew up and started school. The family moved to Cozad when Justin was in sixth grade.
Duffy graduated from Cozad High School in 1995 and later from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. He joined the Army in June 2007.

40, of East Bethel, Minn.; assigned to the 1st Squadron, 17th Cavalry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, N.C.; died May 27 of injuries sustained on May 26 when his OH-58 Kiowa Warrior helicopter came under attack from small-arms fire and crashed in Buhriz, Iraq.

23, of Plainwell, Mich.; assigned to 2nd Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; died May 23, at Forward Operating Base Bostick, Kunar province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device.
