Thomas Erich Halvorsen
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas Erich Halvorsen on June 25, 2026, at the age of 61. Erich lived life boldly, left a lasting impression on everyone he met, and leaves behind memories that will never be forgotten.
Erich wasn't someone you easily forgot. Fearless, fiercely independent, and a total badass. He had a larger-than-life personality, a sharp wit, unwavering confidence, and a toughness that earned both respect and admiration. He lived life on his own terms and wasn't afraid to take the road less traveled.
That adventurous spirit led him to proudly serve his country as an Army Paratrooper, an experience he carried with him for the rest of his life. After his military service, Erich built a successful career in the automotive industry, where he became an exceptional salesman. He was confident, persistent, and yes—a little pushy—but that was part of his charm. He never met a stranger, loved talking with people, and had a remarkable ability to leave a lasting impression on everyone he met.
When he wasn't working, Erich found his peace outdoors. He loved the ocean, the rugged beauty of the Colorado mountains, and spending quiet days fishing. Those were the places where he felt most at home.
Erich's journey was not without its struggles, and he would have been the first to admit he wasn't perfect. But he was real. He faced life head-on, learned from it, and continued moving forward with resilience and determination. The people who loved him will remember his strength, his stories, his humor, and the unforgettable presence he brought into every room.
Erich was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Eugene Halvorsen; his mother, Marcia Lynn Weingardt; and his grandmother, Minnie Leona Halvorsen.
He is survived by his sons, Evan Burke and Brian Baeck; his grandson, Thomas Baeck; his sisters, Christine Halvorsen and Katie Halvorsen-Acampora; his brother-in-law, Michael Acampora; his nephews, Thomas Acampora, Jonathan Acampora, and Tristen Howe; his stepmother, Nancy Halvorsen; his stepsister, Lauren Higby; his beloved Aunt Christine "Tina" Halvorsen-Sandoval; along with extended family members, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A Celebration of Erich's Life will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. at:
Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom
3550 S. Wadsworth Blvd.
Lakewood, CO 80235
Family and friends are invited to join us as we share stories, laughter, and memories while celebrating Erich's life. To help us ensure we have enough space for everyone, please RSVP to [email protected].
Although our hearts are broken, we are grateful for the time we shared with Erich.
If you knew Erich, you probably have a story to tell. Please share it, laugh about it, and remember him the way he would have wanted—with a smile... and a beer in your hand.

Mark Anthony Henry
Mark Anthony Henry passed away on June 14, 2026 peacefully after a hard-fought battle with cancer.
Born and raised in Groveport, OH, he was a proud fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes, hiding buckeyes in the homes of his friends and family even when he moved to Denver.
Like many from the Midwest, he moved to Denver, Colorado in 2001, having sights in the natural beauty and outdoor activities Colorado has to offer. His roots were midwestern; Ohio lived strong in his heart and bones; He wore its colors proudly, but Denver, Colorado was the place he called home.
He eventually married and became a father, enjoying the outdoors with his family. He loved nature. He loved camping, hiking, and snowboarding. Bicycling was his favorite mode of transportation. If he wasn't outside in nature, he might be watching David Attenborough's nature shows.
He loved all sports and was a natural athlete himself, passing these qualities onto his daughter. While continuing to cheer on the Buckeyes, Browns, and his alma mater, the Ohio University Bobcats, he also adopted his Colorado and Denver teams.
Anyone that knew Mark knew how much he loved soccer. As he made his transition from this life---in his final days---he seemed to listen peacefully to the World Cup matches.
Mark loved the library and everything it stood for-a welcoming institution that provided information that nourished the individual; with endless opportunities for learning and growth-. Born from this love, he built a 25-year-long career at the Denver Public Library having also obtained his master’s in library and information sciences from the University of Denver to further his passion. There, he made a lasting impact on the many people he worked with, helped open library branches, and assisted with any tasks that were needed. No tasks were too small or too large and Mark handled his work with determination.
Mark is survived by his wife, Geetha Sivanandam, his daughter, Avanya Henry, his brothers, Matthew Henry, Timothy Henry, and James Henry, his sister, Nikki Henry, and numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, and uncles. He is predeceased by his father, Ronald Dale Henry, and his mother, Margaret (Peggy) Henry.
Mark was a very quiet person, introspective, and enjoyed the solitude. He did not wish to have a Memorial or Funeral service. No memorial service will be held. Instead, his family asks that you celebrate Mark in the special ways he impacted your life and that you spread kindness and joy as you journey through life.
