5280 Gymnastics

We are home of the 2008 Olympic Bronze Medal Champion Alexander “Sasha” Artemev as well as 2021 Olympian Yul Moldauer! At 5280, we believe that whether our gymnasts want to try out for the Olympics, condition for another sport, or just enjoy a great workout, gymnastics teaches them strength and flexibility and most importantly discipline to be successful in whatever they do.

What an incredible weekend for our 5280 alumni at the Pan American Championships!

We're so proud to see former 5280 athletes representing their countries on the international stage and continuing to achieve amazing things.

Yul Moldauer — Pan American Champion on Parallel Bars, 4th on Pommel, 4th on Rings, 7th on High Bar, and a member of the Team USA Bronze Medal-winning team.

Vitaliy Guimaraes — Bronze Medalist on Floor Exercise and a member of Team Brazil's 4th-place finish.

Taylor Burkhart — 7th on Parallel Bars, 6th on High Bar, and a member of the Team USA Bronze Medal-winning team.

Melissa Fernandez proudly represented both the Dominican Republic and the 5280 family throughout the competition.

Watching our alumni continue to pursue excellence on the world stage is a reminder of the impact that hard work, determination, and passion can have throughout an athlete’s gymnastics journey.
