✨STUDIO SPOTLIGHT✨
Each month, the Wheat Ridge Cultural Commission features a local artist in the Wheat Ridge Parks and Recreation display case.
Danielle Ramos is a Denver-based artist whose work is inspired by the stories, symbols, and traditions of Ancient Mesoamerica. Blending her Native American and Spanish roots with the landscapes of Colorado, she brings ancient narratives into the present through bold color and contemporary style. Her research-driven process honors ancestral knowledge, oral history, and the nameless artists who came before her. Danielle’s paintings explore creation stories, teotl, Chicano identity, and the living relationship between people and the land, creating a bridge between generations and keeping these traditions alive.
