If you've been told you "just have plantar fasciitis"... but it keeps coming back, there might be more to the story. 👣
One thing we look for in our office is hypermobility.
When your joints move beyond their ideal range, the muscles and connective tissues in your feet have to work overtime to create stability. That extra strain can irritate the plantar fascia—the thick band of tissue along the bottom of your foot—leading to pain that never seems to fully go away.
Hypermobility doesn't *cause* every case of plantar fasciitis, but if your pain is chronic, affects both feet, or keeps returning despite stretches and new shoes, it's worth asking whether your body's overall stability is playing a role.
Instead of only treating the painful spot, we look at the whole picture:
👣 Foot mechanics
🦴 Ankle mobility
💪 Muscle strength and stability
🧠Nervous system tension
🦵 How your knees, hips, and pelvis influence the way you walk
If you've been battling heel pain for months (or years), you don't have to keep guessing. Let's figure out what's actually driving it.
