Interconnect Computer Cabling Services Inc.

Interconnect is seeking an experienced low-voltage security systems integrator to join our team. Does not need to be licensed but a Class D license would be considered a plus. Will be installing IP cameras, service and installation of access control, CCTV systems including cable management, electronic locks, card readers and associated door devices installation of video intercom systems, and basic understanding of low voltage wiring.

Responsible for the connection of field devices and wire concealment
Under the direction of a Sr. Technician or Project Manager, complete all wiring, connections, and equipment installations ensuring that systems are complete and operational according to contract requirements
Under the direction of a Sr. Technician or Project Manager, test new system installations to ensure that they are functioning properly and that they meet local, county, state, and/or federal codes and any licensing and/or insurance requirements
Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned such as job-site clean-up
2+ years of physical security installation experience
Knowledge and Skills

Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external customers
Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
Ability to meet deadlines
Must be detail-oriented and organized
Experience in the security industry is preferred
Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

Seeking low voltage service technicians to install structured cabling, starting immediately

Competitive rates of pay.

Prefer 2 years of experience, but training is available for those eager to learn.

Ability to pull, terminate, test, troubleshoot and repair is preferred but will train.

Ideal candidate would possess basic industry used hand tools.

Familiar with commercial job-site construction practices.

Reliable mode of transportation- Current Drivers license

Good communication skills

Positive attitude and able to work in a team environment

Ability to handle and prioritize diverse workload
