FACE School

High school doesn't have to be a solo journey.

FACE offers a variety of high school classes to help students strengthen core subjects, explore new interests, and connect with other teens.

Whether you're homeschooling independently, enrolled in a public enrichment program, or graduating through another school, our NOI Membership option provides access to a la carte classes, transcript support, prom, and other high school opportunities.

Dear FACE Families,

We wanted to share clarification recently provided by the Colorado Department of Education regarding families who participate in publicly funded homeschool enrichment programs.

Based on the guidance provided, families may continue to enroll with FACE’s Umbrella School and receive the benefits of private school enrollment, including transcripts, report cards, records retention, and other support services.

However, families who participate in a publicly funded homeschool program will also need to file a Notice of Intent (NOI) to Homeschool with a Colorado school district and provide a copy of that NOI to their program. Families choosing this option should be aware that filing an NOI will also require compliance with Colorado homeschool law requirements, including testing or evaluation requirements.

In other words, enrollment with FACE’s Umbrella School does not prevent participation in a publicly funded homeschool program. Families may continue to enroll with FACE while also filing an NOI and meeting any requirements associated with that filing.

FACE will continue to offer both enrollment options:

• Umbrella School Enrollment for families seeking private school status and support services through FACE.

• NOI Membership for families who choose to homeschool solely under Colorado’s homeschool law.

The 2026 - 2027 FACE Course Catalog is Here!

Classes - FACE School Classes enroll for the duration of the school year, September - May, and are optional, and billed monthly unless we hear from you regarding a schedule change or withdrawal.

With the new bill SB26-023 likely to pass, FACE will be making some changes to continue supporting homeschooling families across Colorado.

While we know change can feel overwhelming, we want families to know that FACE is committed to walking alongside you every step of the way. Our mission has always been to support and encourage homeschool families, and that will not change.

We are excited to continue offering our traditional umbrella school services for families who do not participate in publicly funded enrichment programs. Families enrolled in our umbrella school will continue homeschooling under FACE just as they always have.

Alternatively, families who choose to attend publicly funded programs will now be required to file a Notice of Intent (NOI) to homeschool directly with their school district and may no longer be enrolled under an umbrella school.

To continue supporting our community, we will now be offering separate NOI Membership Services designed to help families confidently homeschool under the NOI pathway. These memberships are different from umbrella school enrollment and are intended for families who must file an NOI independently, including high school families.

We also want current FACE umbrella school families to know that if you need to transition from FACE umbrella enrollment to a FACE NOI Membership, that option will be available to you.

Through our NOI Membership Services, we plan to provide:
• Guidance through the NOI process
• Templates and sample forms
• Reminders for important deadlines
• Resources for testing and evaluations
• Record-keeping support and organization tools
• Continued community and enrichment opportunities through FACE

Families who join the Premium NOI Membership will also be able to participate in classes, field trips, and other community activities.

At FACE, we do not believe families should have to navigate this process alone.

We will also be hosting an online Q&A Info Night on Tuesday, May 26th to answer questions and share more information about these upcoming changes. If you are unable to attend live, the session will be recorded and made available afterward.
