Proper pool construction starts with a safe excavation with sufficient and strong formwork. It is the base that supports the plumbing, rebar and shotcrete. To skimp out on acceptable excavation and appropriate formwork will cause the follow on phases to have problems and potentially fail in the shotcrete application. Over digging the pool excavation also protects the forms and rebar from being damaged by collapse and dirt flowing in during storms.

Accelerated pools took care of a pool repair this weekend that the other companies couldn’t get done. They said the tree had to go. I don’t disagree that the tree is causing issues but the fix was able to happen regardless of the tree. Sometimes you just need to care a little more. .
