We have not posted recently and have been working a lot with waterbase polyurethane on various wood types. The benefits with waterbase polyurethane is the odor is minamal and the drying time is much quicker. It can be walk on in just a few hours. We can also do multiple coats in a day. Which  we thought would be worth sharing. Our projects have included red oak, walnut, ash, and maple. Here is a floor that I had the opportunity to design and make happen. I started with a 2 1/4 inch red oak border that went to a 1 inch walnut board. We then added a 4 inch red oak board to a 3/4 inch epay board back to a 2 1/4 inch red oak board to border the floor. Then we installed all 4 inch red oak in the middle.
