Due to the winter storm, Westbrook Schools, along with the Westbrook Learns Program (Before- and After-School), will be CLOSED ALL DAY today, Thursday, February 13!

All other Westbrook Community Center in-house programs thru at least 11am — group aquatics classes, swim lessons, pickleball, and toddler open play, have been CANCELLED!

Weather conditions and the forecast will be monitored and additional cancellations may occur throughout the day. All storm-related notifications will be posted online at www.WestbrookCommunityCenter.org and on the Westbrook Community Center's page. You may also call the Reception & Information Center during normal reception hours, 5am-4pm, at 207.854.0676, or e-mail [email protected].

Some tenants and businesses located at the facility may use different weather protocols. When in doubt, please contact your supervisor or program instructor.

Our admin offices will open as usual at 7:30am.

REGISTRATION FOR SUMMER CAMP 2025 WILL OPEN FOR WESTBROOK RESIDENTS ON TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 11, AT 8 AM!

Camp is open to students entering grades 1-6 in the Fall and will run for eight weeks, from Monday, June 23, thru Friday, August 15, 7:30am-5:30pm each day. Please note that there will be NO camp on July 4.

Expect exciting theme weeks, weekly field trips, special guests, outdoor games, arts & crafts, storytelling, swimming, an end-of-summer talent show, interactive games, and much more!

Non-residents may register, subject to availability, starting on Tuesday, March 11.

Before and During Registration:
• Confirm that you can log into your existing account without any problems.
• Make sure that the child(ren) you intend to register for camp are listed on your household account, along with their current grade. (current grades should be K-5) To update grades, contact Reception by calling 207.854.0676 or e-mailing [email protected].
• Review and update your contact information on your account, including your e-mail address, phone number, and mailing address, to ensure you receive all important summer camp updates.
• You will not be able to register your child if there is an outstanding balance; please ensure that any past due account balances are settled.
• During the registration process, please complete ALL prompts.

Don't forget to review and update any information that might have been transferred from previous programs.

Summer Camp Parents … pick up the kids, and grab dinner, too — TONIGHT, WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 7, 4-8PM, at the Westbrook Community Center!

Join us TONIGHT, WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 7, 4-8PM, for Week #15 of 17 of the 2024 Bridge StrEAT Food Park, and then again the next two weeks — August 14 & 21 — in the side parking lot and athletic field between the Westbrook Community Center and Congin Elementary School!

The 15 food vendors participating in this Wednesday’s Bridge StrEAT Food Park are Alabama's BBQ Catering, Barry Larry's, Cheese The Day, Cruzin Slice, Eighty 8 Donuts, Fred’s Fried Dough, Great Scott's Mac Wagon, King Of Donair, Meet on the Street, Mr. Sea's Lobster Pound & Fry Shack, Naturally Jammin LLC, Pam & Fam Forkin' Good Grub, Pinky D's Poutine Factory, The Squeeze, and The Treat Truck!

This week’s "Beats Series" music entertainment, presented by Maine Community Solar, will feature Kris Hype Music from 5:30-7:30pm! Maine Community Solar — support local renewable energy and save! Visit them online at www.MaineCommunitySolar.org.

Also, be sure to visit the Moose Landing Marina table to receive your promo code for 50% Off a pontoon boat rental, good for any Wednesday thru September 4.

And we’ll be hosting the Westbrook, Maine Music Boosters as they fundraise for their upcoming trip to compete in the US Bands Open Class National Competition in Allentown, PA, on November 1.

Since last season, the Bridge StrEAT Food Park has increased seating to 96, added a large canopy tent to avoid the heat or inclement weather, and booked live music each week!

Cash or credit accepted at all food vendors and tables.

Please remember that there's ample parking next door at Congin School (410 Bridge Street) — in fact, you're almost guaranteed to get a good spot that's just a short walk to the trucks.

We are nearing a sellout for most weeks of summer camp!

Registration for Summer Camp at the Westbrook Community Center is now open to non-residents, too, and weeks are filling up fast … don't wait and potentially miss out — 6 of the 8 weeks already have 8 or fewer spots remaining!

Camp, which is open to students entering grades 1-6, will run for eight weeks, from Monday, June 24, thru Friday, August 16, 7:30am-5:30pm each day. There will be NO camp July 4-5 due to the holiday.

It includes theme weeks, weekly field trips, special guests, outdoor games, storytelling, swimming, an end-of-Summer talent show, interactive games, and much more!

REGISTRATION CLOSES LATER THIS MONTH ON FRIDAY, MAY 24!
