I don’t bake or create much anymore but this past weekend I got to make perhaps my most favorite of all. I got to make my daughter’s wedding cake.

Don’t you just love simplicity? I’ve decided that I will take a few orders here and there. That is if I can squeeze them into my daughter’s busy Senior year of high school. However, I will only be doing simple decorated cakes and cookies. I will not have time to make lots of fondant pieces. Most of my work will be in buttercream and that includes cookies. It feels good to fall back in love with my passion and to search to find my own style. I’ll let you know when I find it. 😊
