When Visiting the Museum and the U.S. Army Garrison, West Point, New York. All bags and large items brought by visitors into Garrison facilities may be subject to search by Army personnel. Backpacks, briefcases, coolers, luggage, and over-sized totes are NOT permitted inside the Museum (building 2110). Bags cannot exceed 12" x 6" x12" in size. Clear plastic bags, small purses, cinch bags, camera bags, ARE permitted inside the Museum, but will be subject to search. Food and Drink are NOT permitted in the Museum. Exceptions will be made for necessary medical hardware/support materials. Bags which are permitted are subject to search. Army personnel inspecting packages may use a stick to probe any package. If necessary, the visitors may be requested to remove items from the bag for further inspection. No provision will be provided by the Army for storage of personal items. Army personnel will not be held liable for items abandoned within the Museum building (2110) or on the campus of the United States Military Academy
