The Wellington Library Friends 501(c)(3) is a group of volunteers committed to supporting the mission of the Wellington Public Library. We work closely with the library staff to identify projects, equipment, or events where the Friends can provide financial or other means of support. Examples of recent Friends’ involvement with the library include:
- Hosting of bi-annual book sales, usually in Jun
More Book Sale News:
The sale on Saturday June 6 was a real hit! Over 160 folks attended! Between sales and donations it was our most successful sale ever!
Great to have all that support to help fund projects and programs for our fantastic Wellington Library! Special thanks to volunteers and staff who did the hard work to make such a success!

Join the Wellington Public Library to kick off UNEARTH A STORY Summer Reading with Field Day!
Fun inflatables and lawn games will be provided by Wellington Parks and Recreation, and WPL is bringing the dinosaurs with a FOSSIL DIG!
🕘 When: 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, June 2
📍 Where: Library Park Ball Field @ 3800 Wilson Ave.
There will also be a toddler-friendly zone, with a mini-Storytime!
