A 6.5% Medicaid rate increase after 15 years of underfunding is not enough to alleviate the strain on our health care system or meet the needs of older adults and our workforce. Governor Kathy Hochul, Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins, and Assembly Speaker Carl E. Heastie, NY must do better. Nursing homes NEED a Medicaid increase of AT LEAST 10%!
