Enjoyed one of the competitors on a Christmas light program on TV tonight. Was a hour and a half drive but worth it! I'll try and find the program and post in comments!

God blessed us with beautiful weather and the Christmas Village is hopping tonight! Come on out and get some Hot Cocoa and take in all the lights!

Had a few nights chit chat with my sister in law while working out technology kinks for classes and painting this. The original didnt have baubles but Rebecca Sapphire Eastwood decided we needed baubles and I agree!

Working on a date for a local event!!! Found this this morning. Sums up perfectly how at ease people can be with painting if you just let the paint flow!

I started this years ago and it got put aside for a season of time. Probably when the twins were much younger. Thinking about picking it back up but I also hesitate. I kind of like it popping up incomplete on the page in a magical "page potential" way. What do you think?! Added: This is a stippling technique---ps. If I left it what do you think would be a good "title or mantra" for this bird?

Taking some time this evening to reflect in preparation of a new week of homeschool and family life. These past few weeks we have been so blessed by others. I pray that you can be blessed by being here with me as I start out this very public expression. We strive to live and teach our kids to do for others wherever possible.

I encourage you all to look at the simple things that bless your life that are often overlooked. Where do you contemplate? In quiet? Music? Hammock? Often for me it is when I am alone in the car or painting.
