Back-to-School Countdown! We know summer is flying by, and we’re here to help you get a jump on back-to-school prep!

Students in middle school and high school will receive school supply lists from their teachers during the first week of school, and should bring paper and a pen/pencil for the first day of school. School supply lists typically include pens, pencils, spiral notebooks, composition notebooks, and an organizational binder.

🍎 Meal Applications for the 2026–2027 School Year Are Now Open! 🍎

We encourage all families to complete a meal application for the upcoming school year.

✅ Great news: Students who qualify for reduced-price meals will receive them at NO COST this school year!

📌 Please remember: A new application is required every school year, even if your child qualified for free or reduced-price meals last year.

Cool off with the help of WPD!

Join the Weatherford Police for the first Chill with WPD event of the summer on Wednesday, June 10, from 1 to 2 PM at Cherry Park.

Kids can enjoy free shaved ice from Funky Munky, play games, and spend time getting to know the friendly faces behind the badge.

Bring the family, grab a snow cone, and come hang out with WPD for an afternoon of summer fun and community connection!
