This morning I counted 29 daylilies that are not done blooming here though some are on their last bloom. Pictured is the last flower on Eye on a String on a rebloom scape.

This might be the latest that August Queen has ever started blooming. I like seeing that spot of color!

Ann's Love is a 7" double. That is pretty big for a double. The hybridizer named it for his wife. I always think that is a good sign that it is special. Oh, and this one also reblooms.

Belle Cook had its first bloom yesterday. I got this plant after an Ohio friend told me she'd tried it three times and lost it every time. It has always been reliable for me. It's nice to look at a gentle flower.

This is one of two spuria irises that started my collection. My father offered them to me one year when we gathered for a 4th of July dinner. I brought them home and planted them and walked away, just as I would do with any other iris. They turned brown. Oops! That was wrong. But they both grew the following spring. I'm sure he got them over the garden fence too. I never did find out the name of this one.
