Before you head to bed this evening, make sure to take inside anything that can be damaged by hail or winds. The severe threat for early Saturday morning has increased across eastern Nebraska. A few strong to severe storms are possible. More severe weather is expected later also.

Severe storm potential returns today. A few isolated afternoon and evening storms are possible before a storm complex pushes across northeast Nebraska into the early overnight period. The primary hazard will be damaging wind gusts (up to 75 mph), though isolated pockets of hail & a tornado can’t be ruled out.
