Last summer, while visiting the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin, the hubs and I loved the vintage Guinness poster adverts—the bold graphics, the playful seafood themes and the nostalgic vibes (plus, it’s his favorite beer)—so we decided to bring a little piece of that trip home.

These oversized posters were an affordable find but hung together as a collection, they completely transformed these intimidating blank walls. Choosing a theme instantly makes art feel more intentional and going oversized gives the room personality. Bonus points for this space they can be peeped from the outside, too 👀 (love when you can spy at people’s decor!)

After visiting a London design show house last week, I found myself sitting on this post because there just *so much* to share. How to choose when it’s all so good?!

After much mulling, here are five simple & approachable takeaways that jumped out at me from the WOW!house design show house at the Chelsea Harbour Design Centre:



Rooms that feel collected rather than overly decorated. Yes there’s a lot of stuff, no it doesn’t feel contrived or cluttered.

Unexpected color combinations. What could easily have looked chaotic somehow doesn’t.

Creative ways to hang art. It’s ok to cover those books—it’s for the greater good.

The ceiling as a Main Character. This is how I want all high hats to look for forevermore.

Cozy & comfortable lighting. When the floor lamp is tall enough for function but shaded in a way to avoid that interrogation feel.

We have a college graduate and I couldn’t be prouder! Our whole family loved his time at Ithaca and feel fortunate that we had many excuses to visit our soccer (and lacrosse for one season!) player. He made so many fantastic friends and so did we—not to mention a wonderful education. Congrats to the class of 2026! Go Bombers!💣🎓⚽️🥍
