Waukee-City Code Enforcement

Gas service for Waukee transfers to MidAmerican Energy on October 22, 2025. City staff have been working closely with MidAmerican Energy staff to match up customer accounts and transfer operations. Here are three things to know:

1. Your October bill will be the last that includes gas charges from the City of Waukee.
2. MidAmerican Energy already provides electric service to Waukee homes and businesses, so gas will be added to the same MidAmerican Energy account for your address. Most people won’t have to do anything.
3. Waukee.org/Gas will have answers to questions, contact information for customer service and other information related to the transition.
