*Announcement*

The following has been incredibly difficult for me to come to terms with and even more difficult to put into words.

As some of you know, I have been struggling with the varying symptoms of Lupus for many years. I was always able to suck it up and take it day by day. Going to a job I love with amazing clients who I consider dear friends always makes it so much easier. Even before the pregnancy, my health was declining, but sheer stubbornness and a positive attitude is a very powerful thing. It has kept me in the game. But, recently it has become obvious to me, my family, and my doctors that I can’t keep playing that game. I have to prioritize my health so I can be at my absolute best for my family. I have to take a step back.

As of right now, I have to immediately limit my hours at the shop. If you have already existing appointments, they do not need to be changed. I will be there. For future appointments, I will be going down to Thursdays and Friday mornings/afternoons. Obviously, this limits the amount of people I can now accommodate. At the end of November, I will be closing down my shop and hopefully passing it over to someone who can fill it with their own dreams. I am going to take time to heal, learn how to manage my Lupus and, most importantly, hone my skills as a badass Mom. My kids and my ever-supportive husband are my number one priority. I am working on a list of amazing stylists and salons that can take care of you. I’m so very sorry for the inconvenience this causes many of you.

I love what I do. I love my clients. I have been doing this long enough that I’ve seen kids graduate from high school, then college, then get married and have babies. I’ve seen clients transition into retirement, start new careers, go through tough times to come out on the other side and start anew. It’s been an amazing journey and gift to be so involved with people’s lives. I have gone through some huge life changes during my hair career and I can never thank everyone enough for always supporting me. You have brought me so much joy. This was a very hard decision to close while business is thriving. I am truly going to miss this business, and all of you, being a huge piece of my life. I appreciate your support and understanding as I transition into this next chapter.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! There are only a few appointments available before the holidays. If you want to get some extra sparkle before Christmas, book now! As always, I’m doing everything I can to make sure my space is as safe as possible. My schedule has adjusted a bit since my kiddos are back to remote learning. If you need to move your appointment for ANY covid-related reasons, I will do everything I can to get you back in as soon as possible. ‘Tis the season to be 2020 flexible! I truly appreciate the efforts people have taken to keep me and my family safe. This year, I am extra grateful to you all for all of your love and support. I am hopeful that we will all find something beautiful in this unconventional Holiday.
