The Watertown Wolves

The Watertown Wolves announce today they have hired Cameron Yarwood as Assistant Coach with Head Coach/General Manager Brent Clarke.

"I'm excited to have Yarzi on board for the upcoming season," said Coach Clarke. "He was a top player for me over the years in Elmira, a very offensive D-Man. This is a no-brainer to bring him in to work with the D-Men in practice, developing them on bench during the games. I believe this a great addition to our organization as we move forward on making Watertown a contender again."

Yarwood, 32, is a native from Grosse Pointe Park Michigan. He has had coaching experience from 2023-2025 with the Elmira Impact of the USPHL as Assistant and Head Coach until being named Assistant Head Coach of the FPHL Indiana Sentinels in the 2025-2026 season.
Cameron first played in the FHL 2015-2016 season for Berlin River Drivers and then returned to play for the FPHL in 2018. 2 seasons in a row, 2018-2019 & 2019-2020, Yarwood was named Defenseman of the Year.

on the bench with Clarkey, now being in a coaching role. I am looking forward to getting started. Watertown is a proven established organization in this league over the years and I cannot wait to chase a championship in October."

New owner, Dan Drake, had this to say about the signing "We have a job to do this season and I believe Cameron will be a key piece in us accomplishing that job. He is hungry to prove himself and make a name at this level. That is exactly the mentality we want to join our organization. He is going to make opposing offenses less eager to make the trip into Watertown. "
