My longing to be intimate with life
woke up stronger today.
Because I recently remembered,
that the sky is all around us.
That we are on a planet hurling through space.
That the form that I am now will die.
Yet for now, while I am alive in THIS way-
The spec of dust that I am,
Is for some reason colliding, with
Other particular specs.
People, plants, breath.
For me, I want to be in the dance,
of wonder that swirls around in my mind,
And connection with the present sounds
Touch, light &dark.
To feel the questions inside,
And listen for the answers
From the moment itself.
