Hi everyone —

Mel here. I wanted to share a quick update, especially since our page has been quiet since early July.

Champions Corner has had a lot happening behind the scenes, and all of it is pushing us toward growth. We’ve had some staff transitions, some well‑earned vacations, and a few team outings that gave us a chance to reset and refocus. We’ve also been working on internal upgrades — including improvements to our electric system and early steps toward expanding our mini‑kitchen, which will help us offer more variety in the future.

I’ll also be taking a little personal time over the next couple of weeks, so we may need to adjust our Tuesday and Wednesday hours temporarily. I’ll keep everyone updated right here, so please stay tuned.

I want to give a huge, heartfelt thank‑you to everyone who shared kind words on the Waterlooians Uncensored page. Your support has meant more than you know. Hearing that our daily efforts are noticed and appreciated has lifted the spirits of our entire staff. This community has made us feel like true champions.

And because I love keeping things fun — here are a few teasers of what’s coming up:

• We’re honored to be invited to our first-ever participation in the 6th Annual Urban Golf Challenge on September 26, 2026, benefiting Needy Paws Rescue. Nine bars are involved in this putt putt crawl, and we’re incredibly excited to be part of such an amazing nonprofit event.

• We’re working with local musicians to bring more live music and entertainment into our space.

• Champions Corner is gearing up to be your Fantasy Football Draft Destination. If your crew needs a place with room to spread out, plenty of TVs, and cold beer, we’ve got you covered.

• And we’ll be sharing more information soon about how Champions Corner can be rented for parties, celebrations, business meetings, and private events.

Even champions need a breather once in a while — and this town has truly made me and the staff feel like top‑notch champions every single day.
