Iowa Irish Fest is dedicated to celebrating Irish culture in Iowa and takes place in the Lincoln Park area of downtown Waterloo. There are many fun filled activities for people of all ages - Celtic bands and musicians, Irish food and beer, kids play area, 5K run/walk, and much, much more!

We understand that it takes many people to put on large community events, and we always try to help whenever we can. This past weekend, several of us volunteered at the My Waterloo Days celebration.
This summer, look for us all throughout northeast Iowa volunteering, supporting other nonprofits, and of course promoting our own fest!

New this year, Eulenspiegel Puppet Theatre Company will be in the Family Area performing the Kate Shelly show. Kate was an Irish native who gained fame due to her heroic actions in the aftermath of a bridge collapse in 1881 in Iowa. Learn more about her adventure and why she was the first woman in the United States to have a bridge named after her!
Kids under the age of 15 get in free with the fest with a paid adult. www.iowairishfest.com
