On Wednesday, April 1st, we celebrated the retirement of Officer Brad Walter. Officer Walter dedicated nearly 24 years of service to the citizens of Waterloo. Throughout his career, he played a key role in impaired driving enforcement and earned national recognition as one of the leading instructors for officers in this specialized field.

We thank Officer Walter for his outstanding service, commitment, and leadership. We wish him the very best in his new role with the Iowa Governor's Traffic Safety Bureau, where he will continue helping to combat impaired driving across the State of Iowa.
