STEM in Waterloo Schools
03/02/2026
What a weekend! Our Waterloo Community School District FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) teams truly left it all on the field at the IA State Championship, and we couldn’t be prouder of how they represented our community. 🤖✨
From nail-biting matches to technical hurdles, our students handled every high and low with Gracious Professionalism and a whole lot of heart. While the FTC season has officially come to a close, the energy and growth we saw this weekend were the real trophies.
🏆 The State Championship Breakdown:
7247 H2O Loo Bots: Finished 28th out of 72 and took home the 3rd Place Inspire Award! This prestigious award recognizes a truly well-balanced team with a stellar record of achievement.
