We celebrated a remarkable milestone today, bidding farewell to an extraordinary group of staff whose dedication has left a lasting mark on our community. Their tireless efforts have empowered countless students, and though their absence will be deeply felt, we're equally thrilled to see them embark on this new chapter.

Congratulations to Suzie, Bruce, and Gloria on their retirement.

Thursday morning, Kendra Tucker and Olivia Grayson attended the Waterloo Schools Foundation Sparkling Academic Excellence Breakfast. Their display highlighted the Accepting the Challenge of Excellence Award from the Sunrise Exchange Club, of which they are both recipients. They also showcased our ongoing partnership with the Sunrise Exchange Petting Zoo. Well done, ladies!

Congratulations to EXPO senior Olivia Grayson! Olivia has been selected as our Overall ACE Recipient of the Year in partnership with the Sunrise Exchange Club. Olivia's ACE Essay is advancing to the Sunrise Exchange Club's district competition. Best of luck Olivia!

Some EXPO-ALC Lighthouse students dropped off their Pickles for Paws donations at the Cedar Bend Humane Society on Thursday—and even got to play with some adoptable cats!

During the month of March, EXPO Leader in Me Lighthouse Students held their 2nd Annual Pickles for Paws fundraiser. As part of this fundraiser, students sold dill pickles at EXPO, the Waterloo Career Center, and Central Middle School. The funds raised will be used to purchase much-needed supplies for the Cedar Bend Humane Society. 🐾💕🌟
