Our Annual Matthew J. Melchionda Golf Outing will take place on Monday, June 8th at Watchung Valley Golf Club. Please join us for a great day on the course, filled with good food, great company, and plenty of fun.

All proceeds will support Watchung PBA Local 193 and help fund future initiatives benefiting the Borough of Watchung.

March 8th holds a very special place in the collective hearts of the members of Watchung PBA Local 193. It is the day we honor our fallen brother, Matthew Melchionda. Our members know all too well the pain and heartbreak that come with losing a colleague and a brother.

Today, our hearts reach out to the members of the Pennsylvania State Police as they mourn the loss of one of their heroes. Corporal Timothy O’Connor was killed during a traffic stop on Sunday, March 8th.

While March 8th will always remain a sacred day of remembrance for our Local, we are deeply saddened that the Pennsylvania State Police must now also carry the weight of this date.

We stand with his family, friends, and the entire Pennsylvania State Police during this incredibly difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with them.

Congratulations to one of our own, Sgt. Andrew Pero, for 10 years of dedicated service as a member of the Somerset County Dive-Rescue Team. We thank Sgt. Pero for his continued dedication and congratulate him on a significant milestone.
