As we come up on our three year anniversary of opening Polar Books, I can’t help but have an overwhelming sense of gratitude, pride, and honestly, disbelief.

I remember laughing when I shared my year one client goal with a friend and he said, “that’s too easy. You’ll double that without a problem.”

I remember when my business coach kept pushing me to dream bigger than “just replacing my full time income”.

I remember late night talks with my husband chatting about what it would be like to have a team and an office space “in five to 10 years” 😂

What a privilege it is to serve this community. What a privilege it is to partner with businesses and watch them grow. What a privilege it is to have a team that I can count on to represent me and our company, and serve our clients with the excellence they deserve.

To say I’m thankful for all of the love and support will forever be the biggest understatement. 💙

2024 at Polar Books looks a bit different than I imagined, but I couldn't be more grateful for this journey 💙

Looking back at this year, I'm filled with so much joy seeing how Polar Books has grown. From launching Partner With A Pro to creating new services, every milestone has been possible because of two incredible forces: our amazing clients who trust us with their businesses, and my wonderful family who supports this wild entrepreneurial journey.

Balancing entrepreneurship with motherhood is a daily adventure - sometimes it means jumping on calls before and after school, other times it's reviewing client books between playdates and family time. But you know what? Those moments of juggling it all have taught me more about efficiency and grace than any business course ever could! 😅

To our clients: thank you for being part of the Polar Books story. To my family: thank you for understanding when tax season gets crazy and for celebrating every win, big and small. And to our growing team: you make it possible to serve our community while keeping that precious work-life balance.

Here's to what 2025 brings - more growth, more learning, and continued support for Alaska's amazing small businesses. Because at the end of the day, it's all about keeping both books and life balanced. 📚✨
