Here is one step of the process you won’t typically see on our feed and it’s something we do on every project. Prior to hanging board, we have found that the most efficient way to flatten and level walls is a combination of using these shims and a standard planer. This particular wall is both connected to the shower and vanity, very crucial that it’s both flat and level. It took us less than an hour to complete and time well spent. Instead of using PL premium, we use a glue that’s rated for foam, we noticed that the PL eats away at the foam and it also gets very messy, those who use PL probably know that I’m talking about.
