South Strabane Township

South Strabane Township will hold a Public Hearing on the Draft Data Center Ordinance on Tuesday, March 31st at 6:30 p.m. at the South Strabane Fire Hall, 172 Oak Spring Road, Washington, PA 15301. Community members are encouraged to attend and share their input.

Due to the potential for a large turnout, we kindly ask attendees to consider carpooling when possible.

Please note that parking at the Fire Hall is limited. Overflow parking will be available at 250 Oak Spring Road (Big Lots Plaza), where a shuttle bus will be provided to transport attendees to and from the Fire Hall. The shuttle will run from 5:15 p.m. until after the conclusion of the meeting.

Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to allow time for parking and transportation. Seating may be limited.

Two important updates:

RECYCLING DELAY - Waste Management has notified us that they be delaying recycling pick-up for any addresses that would normally receive service tomorrow, 1/26, by one day. Recycling for these addresses will now occur on Tuesday, 1/27.

OFFICE CLOSURE - For the safety of our dedicated staff, the South Strabane Township Administrative offices will be CLOSED on Monday, 1/26/26. Police, Fire, and Public Works will operate as usual with the storm response.
