At K9 Kindergarten, we’re passionate about helping families stay safe while building strong, trusting relationships with their dogs. The truth is—most dog bites are preventable, and education is the key!
👶 Children are the most common victims, which makes awareness and supervision more important than ever.
💡 Key Prevention Tips:
✔️ Never leave a child alone with a dog—no matter how well you know them
✔️ Always ask permission before petting someone else’s dog
✔️ Let the dog sniff you first—don’t rush the interaction
✔️ Avoid disturbing dogs that are sleeping, eating, or caring for puppies
✔️ If approached by a strange dog: stay calm, avoid eye contact, and slowly back away
✔️ Keep your dog healthy—pain or illness can increase the chance of a bite
