As our Taiwan Study Tour came to a close, the Fellows found themselves in a state of reflection while in Kinmen.
From the historical Kinmen Kaoliang Liquor Company to the globally-minded BoCun Primary School, our cohort discovered the island's calm and resilient spirit. Seeing Taiwan through the eyes of its next generation left an air of hopefulness looking to the future of the region. Observing the Xiamen, China skyline from the Kinmen shores brought all our previous discussions to reality, zooming out to consider all the learnings and revelations Fellows were preparing to take home.
Reflecting on our incredible expedition, we resonated deeply with Taiwan’s vision to build bridges and foster conscious leaders. From engagements with President Tsai to local leaders, our fellows have gained rare insights and forged connections that will last a lifetime.
As we continue Fellowship programming, the bonds of this cohort will only continue to evolve. Stay tuned for the impact these experiences will have on their leadership paths ahead.

Our annual Study Tour with the class of 2023 Millennium Fellows has recently come to a close. Follow along for updates from these highly anticipated ten days in Taiwan.
The program kicked off in Hualien for an introspective leadership retreat with our partners at Spencer Stuart. Fellows spent time learning more about their leadership styles, building community with each other, and preparing for the program ahead.
After a warm welcome from local government representatives, we were immersed in the rich indigenous history and culture at National D**g Hwa University(NDHU). Capped with hikes through Taroko National Park, these opening days laid the foundation for learning, laughter, and curiosity that guided the rest of the program.
