ICYMI: The United States Sentencing Commission voted to adopt a package of guideline amendments, which will be to submitted to Congress by May 1, 2026.
The amendments will expand probation and community programs, reduce prison time, and narrow “career offender” enhancements.
April 16, 2026 Commission votes to promulgate amendments to the federal sentencing guidelines.
