Another case, another #followthemoney story • This isn’t just #Kentucky. It’s everywhere. • So many people are perplexed and ask overly simplistic questions, “Why did you let them take your kids?” Or “The social workers have to do an investigation, they can’t just take your kids for no reason.” • You will never understand the system if you don’t understand the motivation. It has nothing to do with protecting children. It’s s quota for federal funding. • Social workers who DARE want to reunify a family are shamed, and threatened with retaliation. And they KNOW the power of “the agency” because they have seen in it from the inside. • “Good” Social Workers will not stay with the agency. Their turnover rate is outrageous. No, it’s not because of the caseloads, as they have you believe. It’s because of the corruption, and people either a conscious want to be able to sleep at night. 04/28/2025
