In addition to our classes, we sell handmade items from third world countries supporting families with young children in their efforts to get an education. What a day for Learning World's budding ornithologists! Lunch was "eagle nests" with edamame noodles, apples, berries (the "eggs"), crackers, nuts and marshmallow glue. Learning is delicious! Our nests look just like the one the eagles made, right?

At Learning World Little Steps, we're exploring Mother Goose rhymes and all their silliness!
A favorite this week is a continuation of Jack and Jill
Jack and Jill went up the hill to fetch a pail of water
Jack fell down and broke his crown and Jill came tumbling after
Up Jack got and said to Jill as in his arms he caught her
"You're not hurt.Brush off the dirt. And then we'll get the water."
Then back up the hill went Jack and Jill
And filled the pail with water
Down from the top without spilling a drop
A helpful son and daughter.
