Dung was inspired by his mother, a pharmacist who always encouraged him to chase his dreams. During his final year, she became seriously ill, requiring constant care. Then, just one month before his thesis defense, his father suddenly passed away, leaving him to face both grief and responsibility.

Despite the pain, Dung refused to give up. He balanced hospital visits, caring for his mother, and the pressure of completing his studies. Through unwavering determination, he finished at the top of his class.

On graduation day, he honored his mother in the most touching way possible. Carrying her on his back, he brought her onto the stage so she could witness the moment they had both worked so hard for. The emotional scene moved everyone present and quickly went viral across Southeast Asia.

Dung's story became a powerful reminder that love, resilience, and gratitude can help people overcome even life's greatest challenges.

In August 2015, a 16-year-old girl was swimming in Germany's beautiful Lake Königssee when she noticed something shiny beneath the clear water. Curious, she dived about two meters down and discovered an unexpected treasure—a 500-gram gold bar resting on the lakebed.

The bar was stamped "Degussa Fine Gold 999.9" and was later valued at around €16,000. Instead of keeping it a secret, the teenager chose to do the honest thing. She took the gold bar to the local police, who launched an investigation to find its rightful owner.

Investigators examined the bar, but its serial number had been scratched off, making it impossible to trace. After six months, no one came forward to claim it.

Under German law, unclaimed property can legally be returned to the finder. In February 2016, the police officially handed the gold bar back to the teenage girl. To this day, no one knows how such a valuable piece of gold ended up at the bottom of the lake, leaving the mystery unsolved.
