AOA Trustee Dr. Giaimo represented osteopathic physicians at HHS' ACA open enrollment briefing this morning at the White House. Dr. Giaimo participated on the panel entitled, "National and On-the-Ground Efforts"

Steve Sampson, DO, was invited to lecture on regenerative medicine at the US Army Walter Reed National Medical Center in Washington, DC, and toured the facilities for our wounded heroes which included a state of the art gait lab for amputees.
The American Osteopathic Association is a proud partner of the Healthy Self campaign. The campaign, a joint effort between The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the White House and the Surgeon General’s office, aims to connect people to the care they need and empower them to take an active role in staying healthy and well at any age.

AOA President-Elect John Becher, DO made the rounds on Capitol Hill today to meet with lawmakers to discuss a variety of issues that directly impact the osteopathic profession. Sen. Bob Casey & Rep. Tim Murphy took a few extra minutes for a photo op!
