During the field visit led by GROOTS Kenya , we saw how villages are reducing their carbon footprint by using clean cookstoves. These stoves use less fuel and produce less smoke than traditional open-fire cooking, making cooking safer and more efficient. They also help reduce indoor air pollution and lower fuel costs for households.

This reflects the goal of the Green Villages resilience projects supporting practical changes led by communities that improve both livelihoods and environmental sustainability to benefit women's health.
