A Voice for the Unheard Washington DC intern follows her passion for amplifying the voices of others by fighting against discriminatory housing practices.
We've been recording short videos of our students this summer during our Friday classes, and our push thus far has been to encourage fellow students about the importance of voting. Here's our first installment in the series, featuring some of our amazing students in DC for the semester!

Last week, we had many guests in town from across the SUNY System for SUNY's Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill. The Chancellor was here, 16 campus Presidents, and quite a few other folks from most of the SUNY schools. We heard from Senators Schumer and Gillibrand, and Representatives Joe Morelle and Marc Molinaro. Our students had a great time!

As we start the summer 2023 internship program TODAY (!), here's a look back at some of the places we visited in the spring as part of our seminar class. Visits to the State Department, the National Archives, the Supreme Court, the Smithsonian's Natural History Museum, Lockheed Martin, the Brookings Institution, and the Cato Institute were just some of the many things we did together! We have some exciting new plans as well for the summer.
