Happy Traitor Surrender Day!
Forget the battle banners. The final and most significant "Confederate flag" wasn't the "Southern Cross". It was a simple white dish towel. Nothing captures the reality of a failed traitorous rebellion quite like surrendering your entire cause with a piece of kitchen linen. The South literally threw in the towel.
