Our adversaries think our differences are a weakness. They want everyone in their country to think the same, act the same, and fall in line.

America’s strength comes from open debate, competing ideas, and the freedom to disagree.

But social media and mainstream media increasingly rewards outrage and extremism over problem solving and common ground. We cannot allow that dynamic to weaken our ability to move the country forward together.

We are proud to see three bills from our bipartisan Affordability Agenda included in the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act, which just passed the House.

These measures focus on increasing housing supply, lowering costs, and removing barriers that make it harder for Americans to find affordable housing.

Addressing the affordability crisis requires bipartisan solutions, and we encourage the Senate to build on this momentum.
