DC Chapter was formed in 1970 and their first convention was 1971 in Dallas TX. Cleveland. Among beginning members were Joan Hillsman, Robert Fryson, Alton Morris, Theodore King, Mary Tilghman, Richard Smallwood, Andrew Rowe to name a few. The first Choir had more than 150 members.

Celebrating the one month anniversary of the Sweet, Sweet Spirit album release. I recommend sitting still in prayer and or meditation and listening quietly for a few minutes. Enjoying some moments of peace courtesy of my mother, the source of this album, Mrs. Willie O. Carter and (most humbly and gratefully) executed by Dr. Ricky Dillard, Yours Truly, and the New G choir in its supreme glory.
