This program is sponsored by a grant from National Center for Women in Information Technology (NCWIT). It is also sponsored by Teens Transforming Technology. It is our hope that the graduates of AppUp will be inspired to create mobile applications beyond the scope of this program. Aside from the NCWIT grant, we are also launching a mentorship program. Mentors from Georgetown are working with middle school girls to develop their own apps. The apps will be showcased in a competition in spring of 2018.
