Albemarle HS Rowing

We brought 26 athletes to the VCRC (Virginia State Rowing Championship). All 26 athletes were on the podium!! Six golds, two silvers, and two bronze!! State Champions were crowned in the Men’s Senior Quad, Women’s Senior Quad, Women’s Senior Double, Women’s Senior Single, Men’s Junior Double, Men’s Junior Single. Big shout out to our novice rowers who rowed against experienced rowers in the junior quads, qualified for finals through the heats and finished third to get on the podium!! Great day!! Thank you to our parents who kept us feed and hydrated all day!!
