Working at the grassroots level, DRP provides the tools to its partner radio stations to help them create compelling radio programs, organize live debates and discussions, produce public service announcements and organize community events that have not only turned these stations into critical sources of information for their communities, but have become agents of change within their communities.

I have some sad news to share. This morning, Kevin Klose passed away. Kevin served on DRP's board for many years and remained a steadfast supporter even as his health declined in recent years. He deeply believed in our mission to help build a free and independent press around the world.
Visionary NPR leader Kevin Klose, who led network to new heights, has died Klose led NPR for a decade starting in 1998, a period of incredible growth for the public media network.
