Just announcing DJ Mettabbana playing for Cumbia In Motion - DC 2018 !
Began collecting international music 8-tracks, cassettes and vinyl as a teen. His dj sets and music productions range from raw analog and folkloric presentations from Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, the Caribbean, his Balkan homeland and beyond to melding of such sounds with gritty bass and minimal electronic. He has been a thrust in the DC global music scene by founding a number of global music event series and collectives such as the all-vinyl global vintage groove Analog Soul Club, Crepúsculo Sereno, 1001 Beats. Mettabbana is a resident DJ and a music curator for the Meso Creso artistic collective and Nomadico Festival.

La Colombopercutiva Is a musical group of traditional Colombian Cumbia.
Initially formed by Colombian musicians today, like cumbia itself, it is composed by musicians from different countries. The sound face of the colombopercutiva has several colors and timbres. It has something of brass music, electric harmonies of a guitar and a bass, and the aesthetic and cultural basis of the traditional format of the Colombian cumbia: Gaitas cabeza de cera, llamador, tambora, alegre, maracas (and voices).
