Scholarships are offered on the basis of departmental need, overall ability of the student and availability of funds. The diverse repertoire in the marching band includes traditional and contemporary literature. Students of all ranks join the band and their majors range from Biology to Sociology while Music majors make up less than 20 percent of the band.
