*** 2022 Voting Campaign Organizer with UUs in DC, MD, & VA ***

Five Unitarian Universalist organizations seek a half-time consultant to serve as our Voting Campaign Organizer from August 1 – November 30, 2022. The Voting Campaign Organizer will help mobilize Unitarian Universalists in DC, Maryland, and Virginia to conduct non-partisan voter registration, engagement and turnout actions, particularly in communities negatively affected by voter suppression. The sponsoring organizations are All Souls Church Unitarian in Washington, DC, UUs for Social Justice, the UU Legislative Ministry of Maryland, and the UU Legislative Ministry of Virginia–all working with the national UU the Vote campaign. With UU the Vote 2022, we’re organizing on the state and local levels to fight for fair elections, advance voting rights, protect abortion access, and resist the targeting and criminalization of Black, Indigenous, and people of color communities. The consultant must be comfortable working with justice-seeking people of faith.
